USAN DWB Project – SBM/TOTAL

08/07/10

CYBERNETIX S.A. is pleased to announce the signature of two major contracts with SINGLE BUOY MOORINGS INC. (SBM) for the USAN Project.

TOTAL E&P’s USAN Deepwater Field Development relies on a Subsea Production System (SPS) tied-back through Subsea Umbilicals, Flow lines and Risers (UFR) to a Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading unit (FPSO). The primary oil export system consists of a CALM Deepwater Buoy, designed by SBM. The main mechanical, anchoring lines and E&I packages are supplied, integrated and commissioned by SBM. The field lies some 100 km south of the Nigerian shoreline (Bonny Island), in a water depth nearing 800 meters.

CYBERNETIX was awarded the EPC contracts, onshore integration and offshore start-up of the complete Telemetry, Navigation Aids and Power Supply of the Deepwater Buoy (DWB), together with the Mooring Line Load Monitoring System (MLLMS).

With these awards the SBM OFFSHORE Group reaffirms its confidence in CYBERNETIX capacity for innovation and technical reliability, as a full integrator of critical and complex surveillance and control systems. We are honored and proud of pursuing this fruitful collaboration with an important partner, initiated with the ALLMS contracts for FRADE (Brazil) and SKARV (North Sea) internal turret mooring systems.

This new project confirms the strategy of CYBERNETIX to widen its offer of innovative automatic and robotic solutions in the Asset Integrity Monitoring sector of the offshore market.

CYBERNETIX had previously won a key contract with the SPS Contractor of USAN Deepwater Field Development, related to the supply of a complete subsea non-intrusive Pressure & Temperature Monitoring System.
