VAMA
Since 2000, Cybernetix is an active actor in the field of new generation (fully autonomous) mine hunting systems. With various partners, the company participated to main tenders issued by French Navy and to several preliminary R&D programmes, based upon its experience in AUV technologies.
Cybernetix is involved in 2 important aspects of project:
Automated perception (detection & classification of targets) through sonar and video data processing, and video referenced vehicle control
Preparation and management of shallow water and sea trials for the whole programme’s duration.
Since 2005, Cybernetix is actually participating to the VAMA (Vehicule Anti-Mine Autonomous) project with the objective of realising a full-scale demonstrator prototype validated by extensive sea trials in near-reality operational conditions.
