Today, CYBERNETIX offers 2 slave hydraulic manipulator arms: Maestro and SAMM.
Maestro
Maestro is the result of 10 years collaboration with the CEA (French Atomic Energy Commission).
This advanced remote manipulator is used when human intervention is not possible as if to operate in nuclear or offshore hostile environments.
Maestro is dedicated to many tasks like inspection, maintenance, dismantling, cleaning…etc. Dexterity, accuracy and strength are its main advantages.
It can be used in either robotic mode (automatic sequence) or in manual remote control mode with or without force feedback management
Usually, this slave arm is integrated in a complete architecture called ’’Maestro system’’ cand composed of:
Maestro slave arm
Embedded hydraulic power unit
Tools rack with all available tools
Embedded controller (CE = rad hardened I/O multiplexer to reduce the electrical umbilical)
TAO 2000 controller allowing force feedback management
Master arm with force feedback
Supervision workstation with CyxPro software plate form
SAMM
Initially developed for offshore applications, SAMM BSN03 version is a remote operated hydraulic robot dedicated for all extreme environments.
Today, this advanced remote manipulator is generally used when human intervention is not possible as if to operate in nuclear or offshore hostile environments.
SAMM is dedicated to many tasks like inspection, maintenance, dismantling, cleaning…etc. Reliability, accuracy and strength are its main advantages.
It can be used in either robotic mode (automatic sequence) or in manual remote control mode.
Thanks to its good rate weight / payload, Maestro and SAMM can be mounted on vehicule like mobile demolition machine.
