Presentation of the Engineering activity
Cybernetix is specialized in engineering and commercialisation of robotic systems dedicated to intervention in hostile environments. Through its Oil & Gas division, Development & Product department, Cybernetix conducts the development of next generation remotely operated or autonomous subsea systems for the benefit of its customers, main oil operators and offshore contractors. These systems participate to the exploration and production of hydrocarbons at offshore sites whose depth is becoming greater and whose location more remote with no surface facilities.
The department offer services that range from the definition of operational scenario to the development of solutions, as well as their on-site qualification. In some cases, these systems need to be replicated and Cybernetix can also provide to its customers industrial manufacturing services within the framework of a stringent quality management system.
The products and systems proposed by this department address the main three following sectors:
- Subsea intervention systems, especially those based on AUV technology, to cover the applications associated with Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair (IMR) of hydrocarbons Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
- The equipments linked to the operation or the maintenance of marine gears used by offshore seismic service companies
- Robots dedicated to operations performed on large ship’s hull (FPSO, ULCC, VLCC)
Also, this department works on-demand and provide engineering services for those customers that need purpose-built equipments or systems. Realisations are multiple, and include for example robots designed to enter and crawl within well’s casing or production flowlines.
