The Maestro System on the first International Forum on the Decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

Cybernetix attended the Forum organized by the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation on April 10 and 11 in Iwaki.

It was the opportunity to support the R&D efforts of the CEA and OTND for the Remote Controlled Laser Cutting project aiming to handle the fuel debris.

The event was also the perfect opportunity to meet with the Representatives of the Iwaki Consortium of Robotics. As a result of the meeting a new project is currently being investigated. Four companies of the Iwaki Consortium of Robotics would like to mount a Maestro tele-operated manipulator arm on their newly developed Ganbappe remotely operated vehicule platform.
