On March 30th, a Press visit was organized within the CEA’s* Marcoule premises. It was an opportunity to emphasize the Maestro system, a teleoperated manipulator arm with force feedback which represents a ten-year cooperation between Cybernetix and CEA.

Made with titanium and designed to operate in highly radioactive areas, Maestro is the only equipment able to carry out laser cutting in a radioactive zone. Maestro is being tested at CEA’s site in Marcoule, South of France, as part of the most important sanitation and dismantling project in France.

Further to the Press visit, Maestro’s abilities have been highlighted in local and national newspapers (Le Monde, Europe 1, Science et Avenir, Midi Libre etc.). What an advertising for such a promising technology!
