The aim of the Rigid & Hybrid Riser Monitoring System (RHMS) is to provide operational information on the Steel Lazy-Wave Riser (SLWR) integrity to assess fatigue life consumption due to cycle loading. The RHMS shall provide real time motion monitoring of the risers for 27 years and load monitoring for five years of continuous service.
The general scope of work shall include the system architecture and design as well as the provision of all materials, tools, facilities and services required to manufacture, test and delivery of the RHMS and ancillary components.
Thirteen risers (production and injection) will be equipped and the overall control system will be performed using our proprietary software CyXense® Surveillor.
The overall solution is composed of sensors assembly, condition modules and a topside processing unit including a Riser Data Collection System with a supervision and data server and all ancillary equipment (Display, communication interface, subsea module AC/DC power supplies,…).
